This 1.5 inch diameter pentagram is made of sterling silver, and was once a hand carved wax that became a casting. The surface is hammered with texture, and oxidation applied to darken it. The silver chain is 18".
Most pentagrams I’ve run across are mass produced and made overseas. These are made by small batch casting in San Francisco by my friends at JR Casting, and then finished off by me at my home.
The pentagram symbolizes many things, but for me it is the primary symbol of witchcraft and paganism. Each point represents the four cardinal directions plus the center; as well the five sense of sight, hearing, taste, touch, and sound. The pentagram also symbolizes the cosmos with the star encircled by the night sky.
