Mud Stone pendant, made in the Tiffany Style of soldering on copper foil. The stone face dimensions are approximately 2" by 1.5, and about a half inch in depth.
The best thing about this is that the stone is 50 to 70 million years old, a fossil of a mud ball burped out of an ancient sea! As the mud ball dried, it cracked. Shell fragments of ancient sea critters then filled the cracks, over time, making the lighter colored calcite crystal.
The proper name for the mud stone is a Septarian Nodule, and they are beautiful, each one a unique assortment of random design.
This one comes with a 21" stainless steel chain.
